Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Public Health Coordinator, where you will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing public health standards across Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of health programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate health outreach activities, including screenings and health fairs.
  • Work with public health data to inform program development and evaluation.
  • Develop promotional materials for public health campaigns.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with local health agencies and community leaders.
  • Conduct focused group discussions to understand community health challenges.
  • Advocate for policy changes that improve public health in the community.
  • Attend community meetings to represent public health interests.
  • Lead efforts that encourage healthy behaviours in the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, or a related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in public health or health program management
