Supply Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Supply Technician who will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with purchasing and procurement of materials and supplies.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
• Prepare materials for shipping and coordinate deliveries with carriers.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities to streamline inventory management processes.
• Work closely with the Purchasing and Inventory teams.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain reports on inventory levels and supplier performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• ERP systems
• Forklift operation

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with hazardous materials handling: Knowledge of procedures for managing hazardous materials.
