Job Description

Join our team as a Sports Medicine Physician, where you will focus on treating sports injuries and promoting physical health. You will work with a diverse team to provide holistic care and develop tailored treatment plans for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments for athletes and active individuals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal treatment strategies.
  • Utilise imaging techniques and diagnostic tools to guide treatment decisions.
  • Advise on nutrition and fitness regimens to enhance recovery.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for sports teams and coaches.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Research and implement evidence-based practices in sports medicine.
  • Develop protocols for managing sports injuries within the organisation.
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Sports Medicine or related field.
Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with a focus on sports injuries.

  • Diagnostic imaging skills

Certifications
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
