Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Hydrologist to join our dedicated team in Aberdeen. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hydrological assessments, water quality analysis, and environmental impact studies. You'll play a crucial role in managing and advising on water resources to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects focused on water quality improvement and sustainability.
  • Evaluate and report on the hydrological impact of proposed developments.
  • Collaborate with local authorities on water management policies.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations.
  • Assist in grant writing for water-related research initiatives.
  • Support risk assessments related to flooding and water scarcity.
  • Conduct public consultations regarding water resource issues.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is an advantage
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a relevant field
