Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Glass Handler to join our team. The Glass Handler will be responsible for handling, cutting, shaping, and installing glass products according to client specifications. The ideal candidate must have exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of safety procedures in glass handling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Conduct market research to identify new procurement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality controls.
• Utilize inventory management systems to streamline procurement.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment on procurement strategies.
• Evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback.
• Manage procurement budgets effectively to achieve cost targets.

Requirements

Education

• A degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Supplier relationship management

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking

Certifications

• Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with international suppliers: Prior experience working with suppliers across different countries.
• Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management: Additional certifications are a plus.
