Job Description

As a Cargo and Freight Agent, you will oversee the export process, ensuring all activities comply with international trade regulations. You will liaise with various stakeholders to guarantee the swift transfer of goods across borders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee the entire export process from start to finish.
• Liaise with logistics providers to ensure timely shipment delivery.
• Conduct audits of export documents for accuracy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with international clients and vendors.
• Implement best practices in export logistics for efficiency.
• Analyze shipping data to improve export strategies.
• Train and mentor junior staff in export procedures.
• Evaluate and negotiate freight contracts and rates.
• Ensure compliance with INCO terms and international regulations.
• Prepare reports on export metrics for management review.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Logistics or International Trade is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a related field.
