Job Description

As an Electrical Design Technologist, you will be pivotal in the design and development of robust electrical systems and equipment. Collaborating with engineers and architects, you will ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate electrical systems according to industry standards.
• Engage with project stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide updates.
• Utilise CAD software to produce high-quality technical documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety regulations.
• Participate in project meetings, offering technical insights and solutions.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior engineers.
• Explore and implement renewable energy solutions in projects.
• Compile project documentation for audits and compliance.
• Enhance current processes for greater efficiency in design tasks.
• Evaluate new materials and technologies for project use.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in electrical design and development
