QA Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a QA Technician to ensure the quality of our products through rigorous testing and identifying defects. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing products, reporting issues, and collaborating closely with the development team to resolve defects.

Responsibilities

• Create and run manual and automated tests on software products.
• Work with the development team to understand new features and enhancements.
• Document testing outcomes and report on quality metrics.
• Use software testing tools to streamline processes.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
• Provide support in troubleshooting issues during user acceptance testing.
• Mentor junior QA team members in best practices.
• Assist in building a culture of quality within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.

Technical Skills

• Regression Testing
• Testing Frameworks

Soft Skills

Certifications

• ISTQB Software Tester Certification
• Scrum Master Certification (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in mobile app or web app testing: Hands-on experience testing applications on various platforms.
• Experience in test automation using scripting languages: Familiarity with scripting for automated testing.
