Job Description

We are actively seeking a skilled Rafter Cutting Machine Operator to join our production team. This role involves operating and maintaining the rafter cutting machine to efficiently cut and shape wooden rafters according to detailed project specifications. Candidates should have prior experience with similar machinery and possess a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate the rafter cutting machine for operation.
  • Conduct routine inspections on the machinery to prevent downtime.
  • Assist in training new staff on machine operation and safety practices.
  • Document machine settings and adjustments for reference.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and improvements.
  • Provide feedback on machine performance to assist in troubleshooting.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Support other production tasks as needed to meet overall production targets.
