Job Description

As a Transportation, Storage, and Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for managing the train operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and collaborating with the maintenance team for an efficient operation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement best practices for train management.
  • Train and mentor staff on operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with logistics for freight movement.
  • Solve operational issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Evaluate performance metrics and improve processes.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental communication.
  • Prepare budgets and manage resources.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher education in logistics or transport management (preferred)
Experience
  • 5+ years in a management capacity within transportation or logistics.
Technical Skills
  • MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Soft Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamwork
Certifications
  • HSE certification (Health, Safety and Environment)

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of freight and passenger train operations: Experience managing both freight and passenger services.
