Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families in need.
  • Develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention and emotional support.
  • Assist clients in obtaining benefits and accessing community resources.
  • Support and empower clients in making informed decisions.
  • Facilitate support groups and community workshops.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and community organisations.
  • Document case progress and outcomes diligently.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skill development.
  • Advocate for systemic changes to improve social welfare.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work (or related field)
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Case Management Skilled in managing client cases and navigating social services.
  • Crisis Intervention Expertise in providing immediate support during critical situations.
  • Empathy Exceptional ability to understand and share the feelings of others.
  • Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions.
  • Social Work Registration (SWR)
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience in Child Protection Services: Experience working in child protection and safeguarding measures.
  • Cultural Competency: Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultures.
