Job Description

As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the social welfare of individuals and families within the community. You will provide support, guidance, and resources to help clients navigate complex social issues. Working collaboratively with other professionals, you will assess needs and implement interventions that promote social change and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families in need.
  • Develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention and emotional support.
  • Assist clients in obtaining benefits and accessing community resources.
  • Support and empower clients in making informed decisions.
  • Facilitate support groups and community workshops.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and community organisations.
  • Document case progress and outcomes diligently.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skill development.
  • Advocate for systemic changes to improve social welfare.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Master's in Social Work is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant social work experience
