Job Description

As a Veterans Adviser, you will play a crucial role in supporting veterans as they transition to civilian life. Your primary responsibility will involve assessing their needs and providing tailored guidance and assistance, ensuring they have access to the right resources and support networks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about veterans' services.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress with veterans.
  • Stay up-to-date with guidelines and legislation affecting veterans.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure effective support for veterans.
  • Deliver workshops to inform veterans of available resources and options.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education
  • A degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field is preferred.
Experience
  • Prior experience in veterans' support, counselling, or a related field is highly desirable.
