We are seeking a passionate Community Outreach Coordinator to lead our community engagement initiatives in Cardiff. The role involves developing outreach strategies, managing community events, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and implement strategic outreach plans that meet community needs.
  • Supervise outreach staff and volunteers to ensure effective programme delivery.
  • Organise community assessments to identify gaps in services.
  • Initiate and manage partnerships with schools, businesses, and community groups.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures during outreach activities.
  • Conduct training for staff and volunteers on community engagement best practices.
  • Prepare budget proposals for outreach initiatives and monitor spending.
  • Host regular community feedback sessions to gain insights and improve programs.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, or a related field
  • Community Engagement Expert in engaging diverse community groups.
  • Project Management Strong ability to manage multiple outreach projects simultaneously.
  • Event Coordination Experience in planning and executing community events.
  • Communication Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills Skilled in building rapport with diverse groups.
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Bilingual skills: Ability to communicate in Welsh is an asset.
  • Background in marketing or public relations: Experience in promoting community programmes to wider audiences.
