Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Painting, Coating, and Decorating Worker to join our Cartography team at Geographics Ltd. You will be responsible for applying colour to maps according to client specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality in all projects.

Responsibilities

• Apply color to maps based on detailed client instructions.
• Work closely with the team to ensure that all maps are visually appealing.
• Assist in the selection of color palettes that meet project requirements.
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy in all coloring tasks.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and challenges.
• Implement feedback from supervisors to improve work processes.
• Develop templates for consistent application of color.
• Conduct quality checks on completed maps.
• Document all color applications for reference.
• Assist in training junior staff on color application techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Cartography, or a related field

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in map coloring or a related field

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• GIS software proficiency
• Adobe Creative Suite

• Strong communication skills
• Problem-solving skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
