Job Description

As a Community Center Director, you will be at the forefront of community engagement, leading projects and initiatives that uplift our community. Your strategic vision will guide operational tasks while ensuring that we create a welcoming and vibrant environment for all visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction of the community center to align with local needs.
  • Ensure high standards of service delivery across all program areas.
  • Manage relationships with funders and stakeholders to secure funding and resources.
  • Foster community engagement through collaboration with local groups and organisations.
  • Oversee marketing and communication efforts to enhance visibility and reach.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff and volunteers, nurturing their professional development.
  • Develop and implement grant proposals to support community programs.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and report findings to stakeholders and the community.
  • Implement safety and health regulations within the centre.
  • Cultivate a culture of inclusivity and respect within the community centre.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Community Management is a plus
Experience
  • At least 3 years in community service management or similar roles.
