Job Description

The Welfare Aide will play a crucial role in assisting individuals and families in need. Responsibilities include offering financial support, counselling, and connecting clients with essential resources. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of social services and have an empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate client eligibility for financial support programmes.
  • Assist clients with application processes for social services.
  • Provide emotional support to clients during challenging times.
  • Coordinate with health and social care services to ensure holistic support.
  • Uphold confidentiality and security of client information.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve service delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher education in Social Work or Human Services is preferred
Experience
  • Experience working in multicultural settings is a plus
