We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Sociologist to join our team. As a Family Sociologist, you will conduct research and analysis on various aspects of family dynamics, relationships, and interactions, providing valuable insights for policy-making.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative research initiatives focusing on family sociology.
  • Draft detailed reports summarising research findings and recommendations.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to assess family needs and identify service gaps.
  • Utilise statistical software to perform rigorous data analysis.
  • Facilitate focus groups to capture diverse perspectives on family life.
  • Explore policy implications of research findings and recommend actionable strategies.
  • Mentor junior researchers and interns in sociological methodologies.
  • Present findings to various audiences including policymakers and academic peers.
  • Foster partnerships with academic institutions for collaborative research efforts.
  • Keep abreast of global trends in family studies and adapt methodologies accordingly.
Job Requirements
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Sociology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • SPSS Proficient in data analysis using SPSS software.
  • Qualitative Research Methods In-depth knowledge of qualitative research methodologies.
  • Statistical Analysis Expertise in conducting statistical analyses for sociological research.
  • Communication Exceptional skills in conveying complex findings to various audiences.
  • Critical Thinking Ability to evaluate and synthesize diverse information effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills Strong skills in building rapport with diverse populations.
  • English (Fluent)

  • Longitudinal Study Experience: Familiarity with designing and conducting longitudinal studies.
  • Public Speaking Experience: Experience presenting findings at professional conferences.
