Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Grant Writer to join our dynamic team in Brighton. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing funding through detailed grant proposals, with a focus on community-driven projects.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new funding opportunities through research and networking.
  • Draft grant proposals and reports, ensuring clear storytelling and compelling requests.
  • Work with finance team to prepare accurate and compliant budgets for grant submissions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of grant writing strategies.
  • Engage with programme staff to capture stories of impact for grant reports.
  • Organise and prepare for grant review meetings with team.
  • Formulate strategies for grant management and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to enhance the visibility of grant-funded projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in grant writing or fundraising
