Job Description

The Chief Executive Officer will oversee the strategic planning, management, and development of the foundation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and experience in the non-profit sector, ensuring the effective utilization of resources to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the foundation's strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with its mission.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, board members, and community leaders.
  • Seek out innovative funding opportunities and grants.
  • Direct financial management and reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Assess and report on the effectiveness of foundation initiatives.
  • Motivate and mentor staff, fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Act as the foundation's spokesperson at media events.
  • Confirm adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Stay abreast of trends impacting the non-profit sector.
  • Engage in partnerships to enhance the foundation's reach and effectiveness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Master's degree in Business Management or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in a senior management role within a non-profit setting
