Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Social Worker to provide support and guidance within a group setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead group sessions, providing emotional and psychological support to members.
• Develop tailored intervention plans based on individual assessments.
• Work in conjunction with healthcare providers to coordinate care.
• Document and report on client progress and any changes in circumstance.
• Support group members in accessing social services and community programs.
• Drive awareness of the social work profession through community presentations.
• Engage in continuing professional development to improve service delivery.
• Facilitate workshops to educate clients about relevant issues.

Requirements

Education

• BA(Hons) in Social Science or equivalent qualification

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a group social work environment

Certifications

• Social Work Practice Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in group settings: Considerable experience in leading group therapy or support sessions.
