Job Description

As a Field Conservation Officer, you will be responsible for managing conservation projects and engaging with local communities to raise awareness about environmental issues. This role requires a strong understanding of ecological principles and a passion for preserving our natural landscapes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ecological restoration activities, including planting native species.
  • Monitor and evaluate the health of conservation sites.
  • Assist with habitat management and restoration projects.
  • Advocate for policies that support conservation efforts at local and national levels.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Ecology or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in fieldwork settings
