Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bench Scientist to join our research team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory work, possess excellent analytical skills, and be proficient in utilizing various scientific equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct experiments to support research objectives.
  • Document findings and maintain comprehensive records of experimental procedures.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in experiments.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project development.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of laboratory space.
  • Provide training to new employees in laboratory techniques.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
  • Ensure that laboratory safety protocols are strictly followed.
  • Utilise laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data management.
  • Engage in peer review processes for research publications.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related field
  • Ph.D. in a relevant field is desirable
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, particularly in a research capacity
