Job Description

As a Telescope Operator, you will play a crucial role in conducting astronomical observations. Your primary responsibilities will include operating and maintaining advanced telescopes, as well as analyzing data collected during observations. This position requires a strong technical background and an understanding of astronomical principles.

Responsibilities

• Operate telescope equipment effectively to gather astronomical data.
• Ensure telescopes are correctly calibrated for optimal performance.
• Collect and assess observational data with precision.
• Work with the research team to strategize observations.

• Carry out regular maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Astronomy or Physics
• Experience with remote telescope operation is a plus

• Minimum 2 years in telescope operation and maintenance
