Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Marine Biologist to join our team in Edinburgh. This role focuses on marine conservation efforts, research, and public engagement. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in marine biology and a commitment to environmental activism.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct species identification and biodiversity assessments.
  • Collaborate with governmental and non-governmental organisations.
  • Prepare research papers and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Provide expertise in marine ecology during community outreach events.
  • Monitor compliance with marine conservation laws and regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology or a related discipline
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Marine Science are advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in conservation-related research
