Job Description

As a GIS Specialist, you will leverage Geographic Information Systems to analyze spatial data and create maps that support environmental decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing insights for ecological conservation and urban planning projects.

Responsibilities

  • Create geospatial datasets and perform analysis to guide environmental strategies.
  • Prepare maps and reports for client engagement and project documentation.
  • Work closely with environmental scientists to apply GIS tools in field studies.
  • Implement GIS training and support for team members.
  • Identify and troubleshoot GIS-related issues within projects.
  • Develop innovative GIS applications to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience in GIS roles
