Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous Auditor to join our accounting team in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing practices, financial reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit engagements in accordance with auditing standards.
• Identify weaknesses in processes and recommend enhancements.
• Liaise with external auditors during their audits.
• Provide guidance on financial reporting and controls.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Conduct follow-up audits to monitor the implementation of recommendations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Professional accreditation (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in auditing roles

• Statutory Compliance

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Certified Auditing Professional (CAP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with international auditing standards: Knowledge of international standards could be beneficial.
