Job Description

As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. Collaborating closely with qualified Speech Pathologists, you will assist in implementing treatment plans and monitoring patient progress.

Responsibilities

  • Implement therapy techniques as directed by the Speech Pathologist.
  • Support patients in using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
  • Assist in conducting workshops or educational sessions for patients and families.
  • Collect data for research and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a supportive environment for patients during therapy.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to build rapport.
  • Assist in administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or a related field
  • Certification as a Speech Pathology Assistant strongly preferred.
Experience
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
