Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Urban Planner to join our dynamic team in Norwich. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing urban plans that are sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. The ideal candidate will collaborate with government agencies, community stakeholders, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed effectively and in alignment with local needs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with local governments to ensure urban projects meet community needs.
  • Evaluate existing urban infrastructure and recommend improvements.
  • Develop policies that promote sustainable development and conservation.
  • Participate in project management activities for urban planning projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends in urban planning and design.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning or Environmental Studies
  • Master's Degree in Urban Planning or related field is highly desirable
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in urban planning or city development

Certifications
  • LEED Accredited Professional
