Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Erector to join our construction team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely constructing and dismantling scaffolding structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Erect and dismantle scaffolding systems in compliance with safety regulations.
• Inspect scaffold components for defects prior to installation.
• Work closely with the construction team to determine scaffolding requirements.
• Ensure stability and security of scaffold structures through proper bracing.
• Maintain accurate records of scaffold installations and modifications.
• Attend regular safety training and updates to enhance skills.
• Assist in loading and unloading scaffold materials.
• Ensure proper communication is maintained with site management.
• Contribute to a culture of safety and quality on the job site.

Requirements

Education

• Valid CISRS card is mandatory.
• First Aid certification is desirable.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in scaffold erection.

• Blueprint Reading

Certifications

• CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme)

Languages
