Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Erector to join our construction team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely constructing and dismantling scaffolding structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
Erect and dismantle scaffolding systems in compliance with safety regulations.
Inspect scaffold components for defects prior to installation.
Work closely with the construction team to determine scaffolding requirements.
Ensure stability and security of scaffold structures through proper bracing.
Maintain accurate records of scaffold installations and modifications.
Attend regular safety training and updates to enhance skills.
Assist in loading and unloading scaffold materials.
Ensure proper communication is maintained with site management.
Contribute to a culture of safety and quality on the job site.
Requirements
Education
Valid CISRS card is mandatory.
First Aid certification is desirable.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in scaffold erection.
