Job Description

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, you will oversee the migration of applications and services to the cloud. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions, ensuring efficient and secure cloud operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and analyse current IT infrastructure to inform cloud migration strategies.
  • Implement best practices for cloud security and compliance.
  • Develop migration strategies and timelines for transitioning applications to the cloud.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for cloud services.
  • Deliver presentations and reports on migration progress to management.
  • Support application developers in optimising their applications for cloud deployment.
  • Document and automate migration processes for future reference.
  • Troubleshoot issues during the migration process and develop solutions quickly.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Master's degree in Information Systems is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud migration
