Production Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Production Supervisor to oversee operations in our Derry manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will ensure production targets are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations and assign tasks to production team members.
• Ensure quality standards are adhered to at every production stage.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of machinery and processes.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork.
• Report to management on production status and any anticipated delays.
• Assist in planning and coordinating maintenance of production equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of production data and employee performance.

Requirements

Education

• HNC in Engineering or Manufacturing

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing supervision

Technical Skills

• Production Planning
• Health and Safety Management

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Team Building

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with ERP systems: Knowledge of using ERP systems for production management.
• Forklift Licence: Valid forklift licence is advantageous for operational flexibility.
