We are in search of an IT Support Analyst to join our vibrant Glasgow office. This pivotal role involves assisting users with IT-related issues, ensuring smooth operations, and providing outstanding customer service in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Handle escalations from junior support staff and provide guidance.
  • Ensure IT policies are adhered to by all users.
  • Assist with data backup and recovery processes.
  • Monitor and respond to system alerts and incidents.
  • Coordinate with third-party providers for software licenses and maintenance.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and tools.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and IT best practices.
  • Facilitate workshops to enhance user understanding of IT systems.
  • Engage in professional development to enhance skills and competencies.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • ITIL certification is a plus.
  • Windows OS Extensive experience with Windows operating systems.
  • Networking Strong knowledge of networking principles and troubleshooting.
  • Active Directory Proficient in managing users and computers in Active Directory.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and providing support.
  • Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer Service Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly approach.
  • Problem-solving Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Time Management Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Exposure to project management tools: Experience using tools like Jira or Trello for project tracking.
  • Experience with VoIP systems: Knowledge of managing voice-over-IP communications.
