Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mat Weaver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality mats and carpets for a range of clients. This is a full-time position based in Manchester, UK.

Responsibilities

• Develop new designs for mats and carpets using client specifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers for quality materials.
• Implement sustainability practices in mat production.
• Create samples for client review and feedback.
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized production areas.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualification in textile design, fine arts, or similar discipline

Experience

• Proven experience in mat weaving preferred.

Technical Skills

• Weaving software knowledge
• CAD software

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with digital printing techniques: Familiarity with digital printing processes applicable to textile designs.
