Job Description

As a Construction Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading our construction projects in Glasgow. Your responsibilities will include managing budgets, schedules, and teams while ensuring excellent communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Direct project management activities for assigned projects.
  • Ensure project milestones are met within budget and schedule.
  • Conduct project risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise project outcomes.
  • Ensure efficient site management and resource allocation.
  • Implement sustainable building practices where possible.
  • Review and approve project documentation.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings with all stakeholders.
  • Assess team performance and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS or CIOB) is preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in a managerial role within construction
