Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Assembler to join our team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products using a range of tools and equipment, ensuring top-notch quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular checks on assembled products to ensure quality.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Report any defects or non-conformance to supervisors.
• Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Assist in inventory management of assembly components.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes.
• Work towards achieving production targets while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• GCSE or equivalent qualifications.

Experience

• Experience with electronic assembly is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Power tools proficiency
• Quality control techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a similar role: Demonstrated ability in assembly work within a manufacturing setting.
