Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electric Motor Fitter to join our industrious team in Manchester. The role involves performing repairs, maintenance, and installations of electric motors across multiple applications. Candidates should demonstrate excellent knowledge of electric motor principles and possess strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Rewind and repair electric motors of different sizes.
  • Install and commission electric motors on-site.
  • Provide technical support to colleagues and clients.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and tools effectively.
  • Coordinate with other departments for project completion.
  • Develop maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures.
  • Assist in training sessions for new hired staff.
  • Conduct audits of electrical equipment as required.
  • Engage in operational excellence programs.

Requirements

Education
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
Experience
  • Experience working on different motor types (2+ years is an advantage)
