Job Description

As an Oil Pipe Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of oil pipelines. Your responsibilities include inspecting pipelines, identifying potential issues, and recommending effective solutions to prevent leaks and accidents. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of pipeline systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of pipeline systems using advanced testing equipment.
  • Analyse inspection data to recommend repair or preventive maintenance actions.
  • Monitor and evaluate pipeline performance metrics to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing inspection outcomes and suggested improvements.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to foster efficient communication and teamwork on projects.
  • Respond to emergency situations involving pipeline integrity issues.
  • Assist with project management tasks as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Engineering or related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in pipeline inspection or related field.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of pipeline inspection techniques
  • Proficiency with GIS tools
