Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Chemical Engineer to join our talented team in Manchester. The successful candidate will focus on designing, developing, and optimising chemical processes and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive project success and efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Lead projects to optimise chemical engineering processes.
  • Analyse production data and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with R&D to develop new products.
  • Assist in the scale-up of processes from pilot plant to full scale.
  • Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures.
  • Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Participate in industry conferences and training opportunities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or similar
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the chemical industry
