Occupational Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Milton Keynes. In this role, you will assess clients’ needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to help them achieve their goals. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities or injuries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine functional capabilities.
• Create and adapt treatment plans to enhance patients' abilities.
• Work in partnership with other professionals in rehabilitation settings.
• Guide clients through therapeutic exercises and daily living activities.
• Document all aspects of client care and therapy outcomes for reporting.
• Engage in continuous professional development to advance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in occupational therapy settings

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a multidisciplinary team: Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting for comprehensive client care.
• Knowledge of sensory integration therapies: Understanding and application of sensory integration techniques in therapy.
