Job Description

As a Remittance Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and recording financial transactions related to remittances. Your attention to detail and accuracy will be essential in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborating with internal teams, you will assist in resolving discrepancies and responding to customer inquiries efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify remittance requests before processing.
  • Communicate with clients regarding transaction statuses.
  • Train new staff on remittance processing procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the company's software tools.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the remittance function.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in remittance processing or related field.
Technical Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Microsoft Excel
  • QuickBooks

Languages
  • English: Fluent
