Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Director to lead our procurement department. You will be responsible for developing procurement strategies that align with our organisational goals while ensuring the acquisition of quality goods and services at competitive prices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the procurement department's daily operations and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Conduct market analysis to stay updated on suppliers and pricing trends.
• Streamline procurement processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Design training programs for procurement staff to foster skill development.
• Serve as the primary contact for all vendor-related communications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory management.
• Lead negotiations for large-scale contracts and monitor supplier performance.
• Prepare and manage the procurement budget.
• Facilitate supplier audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collect and assess procurement metrics to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a senior procurement role
