Vertical Boring Mill Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Vertical Boring Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining vertical boring mills to deliver high-quality products, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate vertical boring mills to perform machining operations on metal workpieces.
• Select and install cutting tools, ensuring correct speed and feed rates.
• Measure parts using precision measuring instruments to confirm specifications.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Comply with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that arise during machining processes.
• Document production results and communicate any discrepancies to supervisors.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training sessions.
• Assist in preparing production reports and completing quality documentation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

• CNC Operation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls: Hands-on experience with popular CNC controls for more efficient operation.
