Job Description

As a Heat Treat Supervisor, you will supervise the heat treatment department, ensuring all operations run smoothly and safely. This position is critical for maintaining product quality, managing staff, and optimising processes for better efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of the heat treatment process with minimal downtime.
• Implement best practices for safety and quality throughout the heat treatment process.
• Conduct training sessions for new team members on proper procedures.
• Prepare reports regarding process efficiencies and suggest enhancements.
• Work with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet customer specifications.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in heat treatment supervision or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of heat treatment processes and equipment
• Data analysis tools
• Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Attention to detail

Languages

• English: Fluent
