Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for maintaining and repairing injection molding machines, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair problems with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in molding machines.
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure machinery operates within safety and production standards.
  • Assist in the setup and changeover of machines for new production runs.
  • Provide support during production issues, troubleshooting to identify and rectify problems.
  • Lead training sessions for junior technicians in procedures and safety practices.
  • Engage in regular communication with the production team on machine performance and repairs.
  • Implement best practices for waste reduction and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical degree or apprenticeship preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in injection molding maintenance.
