Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Valve Inserter to join our dynamic production team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inserting valves into various pipes and ensuring all operations meet strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of pipes before valve insertion.
• Follow detailed drawings and specifications for valve installation.
• Utilize hand and power tools efficiently and safely.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on valves.
• Work with team members to improve installation processes.
• Maintain accurate records of daily tasks and completed projects.
• Ensure adherence to quality control protocols at all times.
• Assisting in inventory management of valves and installation supplies.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Valve insertion techniques
• Mechanical tools handling

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Valid CSCS card

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working at heights: Previous experience in roles requiring work at height is an advantage.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations: Familiarity with industry-specific health and safety standards.
