Job Description

We are seeking an Automation Specialist to lead our automation projects in our Sheffield facility. The successful candidate will execute the design, implementation, and maintenance of automation systems to improve operational efficiency and productivity across manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to integrate advanced automation technologies into the production line.
• Evaluate and select appropriate automation equipment and software.
• Test and commission automation systems before production deployment.
• Monitor automation applications for performance and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
• Prepare project reports and presentation materials for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or closely related field

Experience

• 5+ years in automation engineering roles in manufacturing
