Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Glasgow office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and technical support, ensuring that our IT systems run smoothly and efficiently for all users. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving IT issues while providing an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to IT requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Identify system and user issues quickly and effectively.
  • Install and configure new hardware and software.
  • Assist in network setup and troubleshooting.
  • Create and maintain detailed logs of support requests and resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and processes.
  • Conduct regular assessments of IT systems and user feedback.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive support.
  • Evaluate and recommend new support tools and technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • IT certifications are desirable, such as ITIL or HDI certifications
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar IT support role
