DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Bristol team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices, along with experience in cloud services and infrastructure management. You will play a critical role in optimising our development workflow and ensuring robust system performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to enhance automation with a focus on efficiency and risk mitigation.
• Evaluate and implement new tools to facilitate DevOps practices.
• Mentor junior staff in DevOps methodologies and practices.
• Collaborate in agile teams to refine our development processes.
• Create and maintain system documentation and procedures.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud applications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in DevOps or Cloud Computing is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps

• Git

Certifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Serverless Frameworks: Knowledge in deploying applications using serverless architectures.
