Helpers--Production Workers

Job Description

We are currently seeking dedicated Helpers/Production Workers to join our vibrant events team. The ideal candidates will assist with setting up and clearing tables, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth operations during our events.

Responsibilities

• Set up and arrange tables and chairs for events according to the floor plan.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Support the kitchen staff by assisting in meal delivery and service.
• Participate in closing duties and assist with cleanup post-events.
• Engage with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
• Report any maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Maintain knowledge of health and safety protocols.
• Assist in training new staff members as required.
• Work flexible hours to accommodate event schedules.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required
• Food Hygiene Certificate preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in a busy restaurant or event setting is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Basic math skills
• Knowledge of proper table setting and service etiquette

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

Certifications

• First Aid Certificate advantageous
• Food Hygiene Certificate preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment: Familiarity with working in busy dining settings.
• Ability to handle cash and POS systems: Experience with handling transactions efficiently.
