Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Heat Treating Equipment Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for heat treating metal products to improve their strength, durability, and flexibility while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heat treating furnaces and associated equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
• Participate in health and safety initiatives.
• Document all production data accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in metallurgy or materials science is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or heat treating environment

Technical Skills

• Experience using heat treatment equipment
• Understanding of safety protocols and compliance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving abilities

Advantageous

• Experience with different types of heat treatment processes: Knowledge in processes like annealing, tempering, and hardening.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment: Background in assembly line or production settings.
